More catching up...

My little break before my really-late placement seems to evolve around meeting-ups and catching-ups.. haiz.. no choice. cos i wun have time to do so during or after my placement. I end less than 2 weeks before school reopens and still got a term report to write in that period. BLEARGHZ... anyway i do enjoy the catching-up time.. always did have much fun with u guys...

Went back to school today to try to procure an important text for my placement seminars: Developing Fieldwork Skills and it was unavailable. there were 3 holds on it. Bleargh. Stimes i thk the dept has no sense, if it is to be an important text for our placement, they should have the sense to put it in RBR to make it available for all the students right? i mean, if u have it on the open shelves, with the 100+ students in placement, there is certainly no way all of us are going to get our hands on that single one copy to photocopy the necessary readings. AND the bookstore dun hold this book for sale too. BLEARGH.

Then went to help out the society awhile with their preparations for FASS open house this sat. Stimes i do feel a bit bad for quitting on them at the beginning of the semester and when they have so many upcoming events and are seriously short-handed. But i do know my limits. at least, i learn along the way. I really can't multi-task. it's a choice between my studies, rest, personal time and the society... and i value the first 3 alot. So i have to keep telling myself that i did make the right choice in making my choice then. And seeing my work for the semester did prove my point, and i'm pleased i stood by my decision.

Then met von dear for dinner at tamp mall. The dearie bought me some cute stuff from HK!! haha.. but really just happie to see her and to see that a semester apart has not really made thgs awkward for us.. just a short catch-up session and then accompanyin her to buy work-clothes... why cannot wear skirt? cannot wear jeans?? the poor babe was wailing as we went through rack after rack, boutique after boutique of searching for suitable work-wear. okie meanie me kept thinking that my allocated agency would be more lax on our dress code (mine being a family service centre).. and felt bad for her and ppl workin in similar agencies like hers whose dress code policy include super formal wear like long pants and high-buttoned up shirts. Anw dearie, do take care of ur health and we'll catch up again soon.. and just wanna say, that wadever happened this semester, and however we may not have kept in touch, i just hope our camarderie remains so.. really had a good time today. love ya my "daughter"!! huggies from mummy=)

von and me... this is an old pic.. taken when she came back for a short break in feb. no time to tk pics today heh..

Thought of the day: hmmm.. there are times when i look at a person and wonder.. how has the years been to you? after all, at this stage in our lives, every day brings more complicated happenings than ever.. but always always in the sharing, i would still receive a shock.. at how MUCH truly has happened. babe(u noe who u r=)), you know wad i'm talking abt=).. the years hasnt been kind.. but the friends remain yes? and i do truly believe u still can find your own piece of happiness wadever has happened and wadever u believed or think u wun have it. HUGS.. thanks for trustin in me enuff to share with me.
